Sewing Retreats
What are Sewing Retreats?
Sewing Retreats bring together mission-minded sewers to create some of the most needed hand-sewn items that go directly into Midwest Mission Feminine Hygiene and Layette Kits. Over a three-day retreat, participants will receive one pre-cut kit for every sewing session and instruction from our experts. Whether you’re an experienced sewist or simply love to sew for a purpose, these retreats are the perfect opportunity to sew together in fellowship with others, while making a big impact in the world!
Retreat Information
-
Each retreat kicks off Thursday afternoon with set-up, free sewing time, and a potluck meal before diving into projects — please bring an item to share for dinner. On Friday and Saturday, participants can begin the day with an optional devotion, followed by a light breakfast and full day of guided sewing.
