Sending Hurricane Relief to Jamaica

Help send hope in the form of needed supplies to those affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Hurricane Melissa

Midwest Mission is preparing to respond to Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm expected to make landfall in Jamaica on Tuesday, October 28. With 175 mph winds, 40 inches of rain, and 13-foot storm surges, this could be one of the most destructive hurricanes in Atlantic history.

The storm is expected to cause widespread devastation — flooding communities, destroying homes, and cutting off electricity across the island.
